But how do you determine if the power supply we have set for our dear cat is right and suitable?

  • 1. The parameters to be taken into account are not many, but very important.
  • Age
  • Weight
  • State of health
  • Characteristics of the hair
  • Sensitivity ascertained
  • Physical activity
  • Environment
  • These few points are used to start having a certain basis on the type of food to be printed.
  • 2. The cat is clearly not human.
  • Unlike the man who is an omnivore, the cat is part of the order of carnivores. So it mainly needs to eat meat and only small amounts of cereals. If we think about how it could feed in the wild, in the "wild" state, it would eat the small prey (mice, birds, reptiles, ...) that it is able to procure itself. Its digestive system, therefore, is not suitable for digesting large quantities of cereals but synthesizes glucose from proteins; the excess amount would only bring a work overload to the pancreas and intestine.
  • 3. The four-legged friend's diet must be varied and not repetitive, to prevent the cat from getting bored or on the other hand becoming excessively accustomed to a certain type of food. It is better to always choose quality foods, not necessarily expensive, but containing the right amount of vitamins and water that are essential for good health. It is also right to choose foods based on the age of the cat, following the advice of the veterinarian to avoid running into problems and errors.
